Understanding the requirements and expectations of our clients, I have decided to focus on our selection procedure so that our clients are satisfied with us. So, we have revised our previous procedure as follows:
Pre-selection procedure
We have prioritized our selecting criteria in the following sequence.
- Appearance- First of all, she has to be good-looking with smiling face. She should be neat and tidy.
- Language- She should able to communicate well in English at minimum. Her secondary language should be French or Arabic or Hebrew. Her proficiency in her secondary language should be at least understandable.
- Height and Weight: She should at least be 50 Kgs in weight, and height should be 5 feet 3 inches (160 cms) minimum.
- Working experiences: She should be having a good experience of serving elderly people either in her own family or as a paid caregiver or as volunteer in hospital. Her experience is cross checked during our skill test.
- Qualification: She should be having minimum secondary level education.
In the case above requirements are fulfilled, we send them for caregiver training.
Training: We have a training wing, consisting of experienced trainers:
- English language trainer
- Hebrew language trainer
- French language trainer
- Arabic language trainer and
- Medical trainer
- Housekeeping trainer
- Cooking trainer
- Stress management trainer
- General caregiver trainer
All these trainings are supervised and coordinated by our training coordinator, Mrs. Rasila Rawal who has worked in Israel for 5 years as a caregiver. The training duration is of 360 hours. There are frequent examinations throughout the course of all the subjects. Also, there is continuous evaluation of the candidates’ attitude, behavior and intelligence.
Selection: The candidates are then called for interview. Final selection is made by the management team on the basis of the training results and the interview. If they are qualified, then we ask them to submit all the necessary documents including medical report.
Upon receiving the documents, we upload the documents in our website www.picasaweb.google.com/yghimire. From here, any employer can download or view the bio-data and other related documents. If the employer chooses any candidate, then we arrange for the video-conference interview between the employee and employer. For the arrangement of the above, the employer/agency should inform us in advance.
Recruitment procedure
If the employer is satisfied with the candidate after the video conference, the employer can download the necessary documents from the website or request us for the same through email.
The agency should be sending us the Employer’s details/ Contract paper.
The agency should apply for VISA for the selected candidate.
Once the VISA arrives at Embassy of Israel, Kathmandu Nepal, we will get it stamped from the embassy.
We will send the flight booking details to the agency. After completing all the Nepal Government procedure, the candidates will fly from Nepal.
The agency has to pick up the caregivers from the airport at Israel and drop them to the apartment which we recommend. Caregiver will stay at the apartment for 1 or 2 days.
The agency should drop her to the workplace.
Terms and Conditions:
- Before using our biodata or selecting the candidate, an inter-party agreement should be done between the recruitment agent and us, as per the Law of Israel and Nepal Government
- Besides this inter-party agreement, other documents –
- Agreement
- Demand letter
- Power of attorney
- Employment Contract
- Guarantee letter
All the above documents should be accredited from the Nepal Embassy, Telaviv, Israel. If any problem occurs, please inform us ASAP. The original accredited documents should be sent to us via post.
- The service fees will be paid as per the inter-party agreement. If there are any other financial liabilities from our side, it will be paid before departure of the caregivers.
- The agency should follow up regularly about the caregiver for recording the updated information.
- The agency should be looking after the caregiver as per the Law of Israel Government.
